The author, engineer of the National Departement of Mineral Production and professor at the Army Technic School, studies in the present article the influence of gold upon life in the interior of Brazil •
Comparing social repercussion of gold mining in states of large population and stable life as those of Minas Gerais and Paraná, one remaiks the subsistent relation between mining at large scale and any other great industry, while gold gathering interesses just the least part of population which happens to be professional mining people.
In regions where little ago cattle b1eeding was the only economic fondation of life, as in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, ours money depreciation caused the rising of an industry at small scale and presently we assist to the formation of a new geration of mineralizers
