O Espaço geográfico e o ciberespaço

Abstract

Dentre os conceitos-chaves da Geografia, escolhemos o espaço para uma breve apreciação. Mais do que discorrer sobre as diferentes acepções formuladas pelas distintas correntes geográficas, pretendemos ponderá-lo com vistas a uma possível apropriação da fundamentação epistemológica da Geografia, na investigação e na revelação do ciberespaço, esta terra incógnita, "concretizada" pela informática em conjunção com as redes de comunicação.

            Among the key concepts of Geography, we have selected the space, for a short appreciation. More than a discourse about the different meanings formulated by the distinct geographical currents, we intend to ponder it, according to a possible appropriation of the epistemological foundation of Geography, in the research and understanding, of the cyberspace, this terrae incognita, "materialized" by the information technologies associated with the communication networks.
