Reconhecimento de capturas através de fotografias aéreas

Abstract

This work is concerned to the phenomena of fluvial captures. One of them is related to the basin of Carioca river and it is emphasized with geomorphological and geological studies, with an analysis of the drainage system.

            These studies was carried out through the aerophoto interpretation process, with complementary field control. It was utilized photographs in scales of 1:25 000 and 1:40 000.

            The conclusions that was reached in this work, where was analyzed and correlated the different matters related to geology, geomorphology and drainage system, lead to determine the probably evolution of the captures.

            Illustrating this paper is included stereoscopic pairs of aerophotographs where the captures take place, terrestrial photographs non controlled aerophoto mosaics and drainage maps.
