Abstract

Data and maps of isolines of humidity of climate for the State of Rio de Janeiro and the Federal District are presented m terms of precipitation effectiveness according with the exponential formula published in Geogr. Rev. of April 1946. The indexes range from 177 (Cabo Frio) to 723 (Alto do Itatiaia), the borderline between sub-humid and humid climate being 260, and between humid and super-humid 520.
