Crédito rural e mudança tecnológica no Oeste do Paraná

Abstract

- Resumo:

A análise do impacto da política de crédito rural na diferenciação do pequeno produtor de soja no Oeste do Paraná, ao final dos anos 70, constitui o objeto deste trabalho. Com efeito, tendo na política creditícia o principal instrumento indutor da transformação tecnológica no campo, sua distribuição diferenciada entre áreas, produtos e produtores significou, via de regra, o aprofundamento das desigualdades socioespaciais no Sul do País.

The analysis of the impact produced by rural credit policies on the differentiation of the small soy producer in the West portion of Paraná State, at the end of 1970 decade, constitutes the purpose of the present work.

As a matter of fact, being the credit policy the principal inducing instrument for technological transformation in the rural area, its different distribution among the areas, products and producers caused, in a general way, the increase of social/spatial inequalities in the South of the Country.
