Levantamento de solos da Região de Paragominas

Resumo

Este trabalho objetivou a identificação, delimitação e caracterização morfológica, física e química dos solos existentes na região de Paragominas, Estado do Pará, em nível de reconhecimento de média intensidade. A região em foco está localizada entre os paralelos 2°30' e 3°30' S e os meridianos 46° 50' e 48° 10' W Gr., e possui uma extensão de aproximadamente 10000 km². O clima é do tipo Aw, isto é, tropical chuvoso com estação seca bem definida, segundo a classificação de Koppen. A geologia está representada pelas seguintes unidades estratigráficas rochas sedimentares do Cretáceo da Formação Ipixuna, Coberturas Detrito-Lateríticas Paleogênicas, Coberturas Sedimentares Pleistocênicas e Depósitos Aluviais Holocênicos A geomorfologia está representada pelas unidades Superfícies Tabulares da Serra do Tiracambu, Planaltos Dissecados de Paragominas, Planos de Ulianópolis e Planícies do Rio Capim A vegetação natural está representada pela Floresta Ombrófila Densa Submontana, Floresta Ombrófila Densa das Terras Baixas e Floresta Ombrófila Densa Aluvial. Os solos identificados foram os LATOSSOLO AMARELO, PODZÓLICO AMARELO e GLEI POUCO HÚMICO

- Abstract:

            The aim of this work is the identification, the delimitation and the morphological, physical and chemical characterization of existent soils in Paragominas region, Pará State, in terms of recognition of average intensity This region is located between the parallels 2°30' and 3°30' S and the meridians 46°50' and 48°10' W Gr, its extension is 10.000 km², approximately The type of the climate is Aw, i.e., it is tropical rainy which a well defined dry season, according to Koppen classification. The geology is represented by the following stratigraphic units. Cretaceous sedimentary rocks of the Ipixuna Formation, Detritic-Latedtic Paleogene Covers, Sedimentary Pleistocene Covers and Aluvial Holocenic Deposits. The geomorphology is represented by the Tabulares Surfaces of the Tiracambu Ridge, Dissected Highlands of Paragominas, Plains of Ulianópolis and Plains of Capim River. The natural vegetation is represented by the Undnesmountain Dense Ombrophilic Forest, Low Lands of Dense Ombrophilic Forest of and Alluvial Dense Ombrophilic Forest The identified soils were· YELLOW LATOSSOLO, YELLOW PODZOLIC and LOW HUMID GLEI
